City bred & corn-fed, Brittany Reyes is a multimedia artist and filmmaker based in the Midwest with Chicago roots. Her love for horror started young, driving her passion for filmmaking and special makeup fx. With a background in Media Psychology, Brittany is deeply passionate about using creative storytelling to amplify unique narratives. This summer, Brittany will be heading to the Baltic Sea Coast for a filmmaking intensive, further honing her craft and expanding her global perspective.
While her journey into horror is an intimate one, her artistry extends beyond the screen. Brittany is also experienced in marketing, event management and project planning. She is a co-leader of the media team for the Days of the Dead Film Festival, where she has organized & hosted events, connected with filmmakers, and captured the spooky spirit of the horror fandom on camera. A lover of hip-hop and poetry, Brittany is also launching a podcast in 2025, where she’ll explore the intersection of art, culture, and storytelling.
When she's not conjuring nightmares on set or working at a local photography studio, Brittany's all about that family life. Between her two feline familiars, Romero and Savini, and her daughter Mavis (the cutest horror buff in training) she stays busy! Whether it’s hiking, road trips, or concerts, Brittany’s capturing the weird and wonderful through her own strange and unusual lens with her family by her side.
